In Q2 2023, the beauty retail sector in Central America saw varied performance across the top 5 Android apps, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at how each app fared in terms of downloads and active user engagement.

SEPHORA experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with 1.4K downloads in late March, the app peaked at 3.5K in the week of June 19. Active users also showed consistent growth, climbing from 9.2K to 11.5K by the end of June.

Terramar Brands saw a fluctuating trend in downloads. The app started strong with 2.3K downloads in the first week and ended the quarter with a peak of 2.3K again in the last week of June.

Sol Beauty And Care had a mixed performance. Downloads started at 2.1K in late March, saw a significant spike to 3.4K in early April, and then fluctuated, dropping to 845 downloads by mid-June before recovering slightly to 1.4K at the end of the quarter.

Avon maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout Q2. Weekly downloads hovered around 1K, peaking at 1.2K in the last week of May. Active users showed a slight increase, moving from 15.2K to 15.3K over the quarter.
